The Queensland Railways C17 class 4-8-0 branch line locomotive was introduced in 1920 and 227 were built up to 1953.
This model is of the 1920 design and is of 802 built by Armstrong Whitworth, Newcastle UK in 1927.
It has been fitted with a modern steel boiler with flexible crown stays and a brass dome cover
as preserved at Rattler Railway Company at Gympie.
This model uses the cow catcher, turbo generator and whistle from Auran's PB15 738.
The main texture has also been adapted from Auran's PB15 as have the leading bogie wheels.
The texture for the driving rods was inspired by Marl's 38 class. The rest is by Jacob and Greg Cash.
