36ng WSLCo Type 1 skeleton log car

The 100 Type 1 skeleton log cars were originally built by the Swayne Lumber Company in the late 1920s using Pacific Car & Foundry parts. 99 of them were sold to the Westside Lumber Company in 1940. On the Westside, the cars received numbers 1-100. The one member of the class that was not purchased from Swayne was 78, which had been wrecked before the sale. The shops made a copy of the rest of the class and numbered it 78. The new 78 was fitted with trucks from a heavy duty flatcar instead of the PC&F trucks the rest of the class used.

Length: 38 feet over sills
Width: 8 feet
Height: 5 feet (brakewheel)
Capacity: 6,500 board feet

Based on slugsmasher's D&C 36 foot skeleton log car.
