The Cilie Oldphartz Mining Railroad - NG Model Trainz Layout

More desert landscapes. A burning sun. Little water. Sand and stones. Lizards and rattle snakes under the cactus.

The Cilie Oldphartz Mining Railroad Company is a narrow-gauge model railroad for T:ANE. All the dependencies for the layout are either built-in or on the Download Station. Use Manage Content to make sure all dependencies have been captured.

The railroad was originally constructed to link the mine at Cilie with the small port town of Oldphartz. Later the mine at Cnile and the log camp at Stoopid were connected, giving the Cilie, Cnile, Stoopid Oldphartz Railroad – the Cilie Oldphartz for short. Oldphartz has a workshop, locomotive facilities, a steamship wharf and a railroad ferry barge that links the town to the mainland.

The railroad now also serves an ore crushing and bagging mill, a dry sort log yard and a stock yard.

Traffic flows include
Ore from the mines to the ferry.
High grade ore from the mines to the mill, with crushed ore and bagged ore from the mill to the ferry.
Logs from the logging camp to the dry sort yard and ferry.
Livestock from the stock yards to the ferry and bales of hay to the stock yards.
Plant, equipment and supplies from the ferry and steamship wharf to the mines and logging camp.
Diesel and coal from the ferry as fuel to power the mines.
