AT&SF SC 600

AT&SF SC 600

EMD SC 600hp AT&SF number 2301,first locomotive built at La Grange plant. Had 600hp Winton 201-A engine an a cast underframe. Built in 1936 re-number to 651 in 1953, re-built in 1857 as a Sc 900. Other SC and SW 600 and 900 do not look like this one due to production changes, hand rails and lifting rings. AT&SF add to the stack hight and changed the draft gear.
