Amtrak dome

In 1946 3 sleeper domes cars were ordered from Budd and delivered in 1948 for the 'Chessie', which was canceled after one demo run. They were a lower profile than other domes due to eastern clearance, had curved glass, and the only domes with forward canted streamlined windows. From 1971 to 1981 was used by Amtrak.
This is Amtrak number 9200, 'Moonlight Dome', a 5 roomette, 3 drawing room, 1 bedroom car.
