Styrene Monomer
Styrene Monomer is a colorless oily liquid with an aromatic odor. It is used in making polystyrene plastics, protective coatings,
polyesters, resins, and as a chemical intermediate. Styrene is produced in industrial quantities from ethylbenzene, which is in turn prepared on a large scale by alkylation of benzene with ethylene. Styrene is the precursor to polystyrene and several copolymers. DOT Number: UN 2055. Carried in Tank Cars. Certifed for Trainz 9 & 10.
