Roscoe, Snyder & Pacific
Texas shortline railroading! This route models the entire 37 miles of the Roscoe, Snyder and Pacific shortline railroad trackage from Roscoe, Texas to Snyder, Texas and includes several miles of the Union Pacfic ( Ex TP ), and Santa Fe Railway trackage. The R,S&P operated from 1908 to 1984 when it ceased operations. This layout is very detailed with a lot of scenery touches and custom content to give it a genuine Texas feel. Thank you to the many third party creators who make routes like this one possible. This layout is a greatly updated and enhanced version of the original August 2007 layout of the same name by Jeffrey L. Ritter (N5VAV) of Trainz Pro Routes (TPR). My thanks to the original author for his great work! Lots of scenery and attention to detail so this layout will require a computer with good graphics handling capability. CMTM4 Compatible. Setting is very early 1980s. This is a multi-seasonal layout. Uses procedural track with animated junctions. Except for a few fruit trees, there are no other SpeedTrees. Minimum requirements are T:ANE with all hot fixes applied. Two R,S&P SW1500 locomotives are available separately for download on the DLS.
