NSWGR MHO Guard's Van - Tuscan (TRS06)

MHO Brake Vans entered service with the NSW Government Railways from 1925.

Over sixty examples were built.

These vans have a central guard's compartment, with a baggage compartment at each end of the car. A full width coffin compartment is fitted at one end.

These vans were used on passenger and mail trains and appeared in a wide range of colour schemes. They remained in widespread use up to the 1990s.
