Caractéristiques Traction-Freinage .
Trainz 1.3 ne permettant pas de synchroniser les sons avec la vitesse du véhicule, les caractérsitiques de traction et de freinage ont été ajustées afin de régler la vitesse du véhicule en fonction des échantillons sonores .
Afin d'en bénéficier pleinement, il est nécessaire de conduire en mode *cabine* avec les touches du clavier (touche *8* = accélération / touche *2* = décélération) .
Sur les 8 crans de traction disponibles, les crans 0 et 1 sont identiques (cran 1 inactif) .
L'accélération peut se faire cran par cran : 0 -> 2 -> 3 -> 4 -> 5 -> 6 -> 7 -> 8 ou directement : 0 -> 8 .
Il est recommandé d'effectuer les décélérations cran par cran, sans frein, jusqu'à l'arrêt : 8 -> 7 -> 6 -> 5 -> 4 -> 3 -> 2 -> 0 .
En modes *DCC* ou automatique, les caractéristiques Traction-Freinage sont réalistes, mais les sons risquent de se prolonger au-delà des périodes de ralentissement ou d'accélération .
Traction and braking specs .
As Trainz 1.3 doesn't allow the sounds to be synchronised with the vehicle's speed, the traction and braking specs have been adjusted in order to set the vehicule's speed in accordance to the sound samples .
To enjoy them plainfully, it's necessary to drive in *cabin* mode with the keyboard (key *8* = acceleration / key *2* = deceleration) .
Within the 8 traction notches available, the notches 0 and 1 are identical (notch 1 disabled) .
The acceleration is possible notch by notch : 0 -> 2 -> 3 -> 4 -> 5 -> 6 -> 7 -> 8 or straightforward : 0 -> 8 .
It is recommended to decelerate notch by notch, without applying brakes, until stillstand : 8 -> 7 -> 6 -> 5 -> 4 -> 3 -> 2 -> 0 .
In *DCC* or *AI* modes, the traction and braking specs are realistic, but the sounds might go on even if the acceleration or the deceleration are complete .
