WP&Y_Whitehorse_Old Firehall

This is the fire hall in Whitehorse as originally built in 1901 as a 2-story
cube with a low pitched roof and parapet. The Yukon Electric Company added a
one story addition with a gable roof in 1906. The YEC boiler room allowed a
symbiotic relationship where the YEC boilers pressurized the firepumps and
provided heat to the building keeping pumps and hoses thawed out while
providing fire security. It still exists today but has been extensivly fancied
up. Includes nightmode.
