New_Orleans_Bridge_2
This 8-lane highway bridge is based on the second of two cantilevered truss spans over the
Mississippi River in New Orleans, LA. It opened in 1988 carying US-90 (Business) in the western direction
although due to the winding of the Mississippi its actually oriented north and south where it crosses. I have
not provided end bulkheads since in the real world the road diverges into all sorts of on ramps, off ramps,
overpasses, underpasses, etc. plus this is far more likely to be used as a scenery object in the background
then an active bridge. This is also why I have not placed any road spline attachment points on it (plus the
fact there are no 8-lane road splines).NOTE: This bridge is symetrical but I can't get TRS2004 to show itall
at the same time.
